Map, Villages and Factions

The Bloodlines world is built around villages and factions, and understanding the map is key to progression, PvP, and politics. This reference covers the villages you can join, the faction rank systems, and the world zones that matter most as you grow stronger.

Villages and how to join

The main villages include Durana, Sorythia, Rain, and Snow. To join, interact with a village’s Sensei NPC as a neutral player. Each village gives you a mission board, rank exams, armor tiers, and buffs. To leave, you must become a Rogue (25 Sin), clear your Sin at Gamastuck in Rosemary Pit, and wait three age-ups before joining a new village.

Reputation and ranks

Reputation determines your standing. Village ranks climb Genin → Chunin → Jonin → Anbu → Kage via exams, while Rogues climb D-Rated → C-Rated → B-Rated → A-Rated → S-Rated → Akatsuki → Akatsuki Leader automatically at thresholds. Rank grants permanent stat buffs (Genin +10 Health/+5 Chakra, up through elite tiers) and access to Anbu and Kage shops. The full exam route is in how to level up fast.

Politics, war, and economy

The current Kage can declare war or alliances on other villages:

  • War increases reputation gains/losses from grips, blocks you from enemy chakra points, and raises enemy shop prices.
  • Alliances lower prices with allied villages and reduce your damage to their members by 10%.
  • Economy shifts weekly between Struggling, Average, and Booming, changing mission payouts and shop prices based on war performance.

Politics reset weekly, keeping the map’s power balance dynamic.

Key world zones

  • Chakra Points — glowing blue pillars for fast travel and skill trees; some spawn as corrupted points with loot pools.
  • Training Grounds — home to The Swordsman (soul-binding) and the Blue Stone entrance to the Ember Area.
  • The Ember Area — unlocked by placing a Flower Bouquet on the Blue Stone with at least 1 Ember; contains the Ember Shop with exclusive items.
  • Rosemary Pit — where Gamastuck clears Sin and handles Rogue redemption.
  • Akatsuki Hideout — the Rogue faction hub.
  • Desert and snow regions — where certain resources and clan materials spawn.

Currencies tied to the world

  • Ryo — general currency for gear, Sin clearing, and progression.
  • Acumen — from defeating NPCs; upgrades awakening timers, masters jutsu, rerolls traits.
  • Ember — earned by wiping highly progressed builds; carries across slots for the Ember Shop.

Mastering the map means knowing where to farm, where it is safe to age up, and when politics make a village hostile. Combine this with the boss farming guide, your clan progression NPC locations, and the survival rules in the Life Force, Sin & aging guide. New players should start with the getting started guide. Weekly politics resets can flip prices overnight, so check your Sensei before big purchases.
