How to Unlock Jutsu in Bloodlines

Jutsu are the heart of combat in Bloodlines, but the system that unlocks them confuses almost every new player. Your bloodline decides which abilities you can eventually access, while Chakra Points and resources gate when you actually unlock them. This guide breaks down the full process so you can open your first elemental path quickly and keep expanding it.

Step 1: Understand the bloodline link

Your clan is your elemental foundation. An Uchiha leans into fire and Sharingan techniques, an Ayrui specialises in lightning, a Senju favours earth, and so on. You can only actively use the jutsu tied to your currently active bloodline, so unlock into your clan’s strengths first. Step 2: Find and activate Chakra Points

Explore the map for glowing blue pillars of light — these are Chakra Points. Activate every one you find. Sitting at a point grants a forcefield (you cannot be attacked or age up), opens fast travel to discovered points, and gives access to the skill tree.

Step 3: Break points for Chakra Shards

To start a skill tree branch you need a Chakra Shard, obtained by destroying a Chakra Point. You can break up to four points (five if you are Otsutsuki), and you only receive one shard per age-up. Plan carefully — breaking a point is permanent, and it feeds into your reroll options later.

Step 4: Gather the resources

Each jutsu costs specific resources, primarily:

• Chakra Fragments — the key currency for unlocking and mastering moves. The fastest source is defeating bosses, covered in the boss farming guide. You also earn them from quests, mission boards, global events, and corrupted points.
• Elemental gems — fire, water, lightning, earth, wind, and more, found through quests, drops, and world trinkets.

Step 5: Purchase the jutsu

Return to any activated Chakra Point, open the skill tree, select the branch that matches your element (start it with a Chakra Shard), and buy the jutsu when you have enough fragments and gems. The unlock is permanent for that character, though it is only usable while the matching bloodline is active. You can unlock from any activated point once you have the resources — you are not locked to one location.

Step 6: Cast and master

Charge chakra by holding C, select your jutsu, and cast with the left mouse button. Later you can master a jutsu to cast it with no handsigns by building proficiency and paying the Skills Specialist an Acumen fee. Mastering additional jutsu requires sacrificing a physical limb from another player and costs 17% of your max health each time.

Priorities for new players

1. Activate every Chakra Point you pass.
2. Commit to one element tree that matches your clan.
3. Farm bosses for a steady fragment income.
4. Keep a defensive move (like Earth Wall) alongside your damage jutsu.
